In the vastness and the cold vacuum of inter-stellar space a friendly helping hand can mean everything when lacking any one of the essentials for survival.
An evolved civilization keeps its eye open for those in need.
Imagine our perspective is toward our interior – looking inward to explore organic structures, sub-structures, and processes. We are in a fluid environment with ascending levels of organization and intelligence.
Or perhaps our perspective is exterior – looking out on some extra-planetary beings as they launch themselves into their outer space, an integral step in their evolution as a species.
On another planet with climatic conditions we would consider extreme, the living and transport vessels are adapted to heavy radiation from a very hot sun. Navigation of acid waters, presence of regular electric storms, release of caustic rains, and various geological obstacles to safe passage, stimulate adaptive responses and new technologies.
Otherwise, it’s life as usual…;o)
